No Safe Haven: A gripping, twisty tale of loyalty and survival

About

It looks like the perfect sanctuary. But looks can be deceiving.

My life has never been easy. Becoming a mum at sixteen, falling out with my family and being abandoned by my boyfriend has left me feeling lost and alone. The only light in my life is my son: it’s the two of us against the world!

But now he’s all grown up and away at university, and things have gone terribly wrong. I’ve run to the only place I think I will be safe; the cosy and inviting home of my old school friend Harriet and her sister Jessica. This can be a perfect new start for me; a chance to wipe the slate clean. I can help out in Harriet’s delightful fabric shop, and who is ever going to find me in such a sleepy little village?

There’s something odd about these sisters I’ve sought refuge with, though. Hints of secrets and bitter rivalries. And Harriet is being so over-protective of me that I’m feeling stifled.

Perhaps I’m not as safe here as I first thought.

And there’s only so long I can ignore my past.

Because it’s starting to catch up with me.

No Safe Haven is a twisty tale of friendship, family and loyalty in a world where everyone has something to hide.
